The Planetary Reading Group alternates between planetary geoscience and astronomy papers each month. During the months that the group reads a geoscience paper, a geoscientist hosts the discussion in the Physics, Math, and Astronomy building. During the months that the group reads an astronomy paper, an astronomer hosts the discussion in the Jackson Geosciences Building.

We have really interesting, interdisciplinary discussions and hope that you’ll be able to attend (and maybe even lead a discussion) this semester! Thanks to CPSH, we will also have pizza again this year!

The Planetary Reading Group meets every first Monday from 12pm-1pm in the Evans Conference room PMA 15.202A and online via Zoom.
